Depends on your budget and your tastes. Almost any mid grade sub will produce tight accurate bass in a sealed box. Many work great in vented too. Sealed is the most simple install. If you are even close to the recomended box, it will sound good. Vented is a bit more complicated. You should match the recomended box as closely as possible. If you are looking for accuracy, use either a sealed or small vented with a low porting frequency. This will make for a long vent, but the vent can protrude from the box. It is unlikely you will find a true SQ vented box pre-made so you would have to build it or modify the vent on a pre-fab box. It is possible to buy a SQL box that has a slightly narrower frequency response, but extra output. You could also go with a bandpass, but they tend to sound muddy. All of the output comes from the vents so it tends to sound a bit "colored". If you don't mnd the sound of a bandpass, it is proably the most efficient box you can get. I would recommend buying a pre-built bandpass system because the box has to match the driver exactly. even a tiny variation will completely change the sound of the system. If you try to use a pre-fab bp with your own sub, you will probably get poor results.

For amps, they are pretty much all the same except for the options and reliability. I have used many name brands and they all worked well. If you have cash to burn, Eclipse, Memphis, Orion, PPI, Autotek, Earthquake, Lanzar Opti, etc. all good amps, lots more too. If you're on a tighter budget, Autotek and Hifonics make some afordable amps and are very good quality. I've also used many mid grade lanzar amps with good results, and all of their class D work Great. Pioneer are not bad as well as Power Acoustik. Be sure you compare all of your gear by RMS rating. Ignore any "peak watts" ratings, they are completely irellivant.

I would use an entry level amp on mid grade or high end woofers before I would use entry level woofers and a mid grade amp. The amp has little reflection on the sound of the system while the woofer and box will completely change the sound. A good woofer will sound good on any amp. A bad woofer will sound bad on any amp.

if that guys talkin about the same speakers as me then i reccomend two of those, kicker comp vr.. put them in the right box and theyll pound, i would reccomend a kicker amp but theyre pretty spendy, you can get a pair of 12s for about 160, and a pair of 15s for 250 off ebay, im thinkin of getttin two 15s

Find you an authorized MMATS car audio dealer. Ask them about the 12 inch, P3.0, dual 4 ohm speakers. Then aske them about the 1500.1 amp that MMATS has. This combo may be a little too much for you to handle, sound wise, but it is a very good one.
