it's all on preference. it's all looking at the rms of each speaker. don't settle for polk or any other 'cheap' brand, they won't last past a day. also it depends on the head unit. factory head units distort as the volume is raised when speakers other than factory are used. if you have a 45x4 max watt per channel head unit, go for the sony xplods. you can find them at any wal-mart, target, best buy. cheapest for one of the top 6.5 speakers,Would like to find different brands of in dash DVD players and Lcd monitors in the USA?
I would go with eclipse, Infinity, Image Dynamics, or MB Quart components. If you're on a tight budget, cheap components dound better than most coaxials. Try Lanzar or MA Audio, they're a lot cheaper than most and not bad at all.Hifonics brutus amps r they woth buyin?
BTW, Polk isn't a "cheap" brand, but if an idiot hooks it up, you can blow anything out.
