How good must a car stereo system be to set off car alarms?

i dont plan on going around and setting peoples car alrms off but it'd be nice to know it can.

It doesn't have to be good at all. Just a few hundred $ wasted on subwoofers should do it.

What kind of enclosure should i get 10" subs?

have 2 12'' subs that pushes out around 500 watts total would do the trick. if you really want people to hear you, get JLw7, maybe two. people will hear you from a mile away.

well i have 2 punch p2's running off a rockford power 500 bd amp, and i have set off my neighbors car alarm and have had the law called on me. but any real good system should do the trick!! good luck!
