its a simple 2 wire hook up. For a mono amp, Black wire ( negative) or the wire with no stripes goes to the (-) side of the speaker from the (-) side of the amp. The red wire or wire WITH a stirpe or dash marks goes to the (+) side of the speaker from the (+) side of the amp.
