Ford Fusion Factory stereo problems?

I've a ford fusion 2006 make with a factory fit Audio CD player. The problem I face is that it does not play recordable CDs burnt as audio CDs and sometimes it plays them. i also want to know the make of this player. Can I plug in a postable MP3 player with this one?

yo should take that factory stereo out n then go buy a aftermarket deck, aftermarket ones are much better
