Question:
My dad has one Kicker Zx750.1 amp driving 2 Alpine 12" type S subs in one car. It hits good. How good would the Kicker Zx750.1 amp drive a pair of 12" Kicker Cvrs? Thinking about maybe getting these in the future. Which do you think would hit harder with this amp with the same settings on the head unit and the amp, the Alpine's or the Kicker's? Thanks

Is a 100w RMS powered subwoofer too much for my Alpine 50w RMS front and rear speakers?
put the kicker cvr 12 in a 2.00 to 2.25 cu ft slot-ported enclosure with around .373 total port volume, I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the results . If you use the zx750.1 make sure you get the dual 2ohm subs that way you can run series / parallelto get 2ohm mono
If you have the dual 4ohm variety I would recommend considering the Hifonics Txi7506 ,it is 1ohm stable
Can somboady tell me the best subwoofer reccomended please what I could use?
alpine is a good brand prob, one of the best, but i wouldnt buy speakers from them. the type s produce a very tight bass. i wouldnt go for the kickers either, but if i had to go for the kickers it would be the (comp vr). have a look at the link and get something from them instead.More Questions & Answers ...
