Does anyone have any tips for bracing a subwoofer box in the trunk of a car?

Question:
My subwoofer box is smaller than normal and rather lightweight, and thus, gets tossed around my trunk a lot. Any (cheap) ideas to brace it in place? My original plan was to take some 2x4s and form a low profile square with one side against the box and the other against the back of the trunk. Anyone else have a better idea?

L brachets will work but if you realy want cheap and security I would take out your woofers and screw it from the inside. If you bolt it, this will add security from someone just taking the box.make sure to watch out for gas tank. watch where you drill!!

go to your local fabric or sewing supplies store and get double sided Velcro and put it between the box and floor....It worked for me and be sure to use alot.

buy L brackets from any hardware store for a buck each, and get some phillips self tapping srews and secure them ive done it many times, cheap and easy

Go to your local hardwarestore and buy a couple of "L-Brackets". They will cost about two bucks and the install will take about two minutes.

how do you present a 2ohm load on MA audio hk15x2 sub?

You could use many other things that have been indicated by others. My personal choice, build a custom enclosure to FIT the trunk.
