Question:
I am getting a 1996 ford ranger xlt regualr cab 2.3 litre 4 cycindal engine within a few months and everything is fine with it (getting it from my work. it is used as a work truck) other then the stereo in it is only am/fm and the speakers are very worn so I was wondering what is the speaker sizes for both the door speakers and the rear speakers. I think there all 5 1/4 in but im not sure and i cant measure the speakers until I get the truck but i would like to get all new speakers and a new mp3 player deck for it before I get ownership of the truck
Adding a JL 300/4 speaker amp to my system... What difference will it make?
Thanks

Are two 10" Mtx subs any good?
As an owner of a 98 Ranger xlt, the speaker sizes are 5 X 7" ( actually 6 x 8 but the 5 x 7's will fit) I built a nice system for my truck using custom kick panels and 3 8" subs.As far as the head unit, any standard "DIN" sized after market radio will fit very easily. Hope that helps!
Is there any way to make a car power amplifier work inside?
Go Crutchfield.com...put in your new Ranger's specs and they will tell you what size speakers fit and where. They will also give you head units that will fit.More Questions & Answers ...
