Question:
I have a 93 mercury capri convert and I used to have a huge system in a lumina, but with this car i can only get 10s to fit in the trunk. My last system cost so much and used so much power it was overwelming. Im trying to find 10 inch subs that sound good, but super cheap and doesn't shake every bolt in my car loose. I dont care about brand name. Normally I wouldnt get another system, but without the other one the pure treble sounds horrible.

Who besides Buick and Scion makes cars that come mp3/iPod ready?
a Boston G2 will run you a little more then $100, on ebay. however, it will sound a LOT better then any sub you will find at Wal-mart Best Buy, Circut City, or any other "main stream" audio store that sells a bunch of junk.what is the best brand gps unit for a vehicle?
Give www.crutchfield.com a look, they are having a 2for1 sale. They have infiniti kappa perfect 10.1's for $150, they have infinity reference 2 for $90, they have kicker comps 2 for $90 and kicker VR's 2 for $129.If you want cheap, there's always wal-mart, but if you want good AND cheap, that's another story. You might try the 10" kicker Comp series subs. They're very efficient, and pack a decent punch. Kicker subs aren't as cheap as alot of brands, but they're definately worth it in the long run.
Try Audiobahns, several choices of quality in a 10" with corresponding prices. Plus they don't look as cheap as what you'll find at a department store.
