Will "illegal bass test" tracks hurt normal speakers?

Question:
I remember downloading one by accident when I was younger and I don't recall it hurting the computer speakers or anything. My feeling is that it won't hurt normal speakers (whether on a computer or in your car) but that it simply won't do what it's supposed to do like it will with a system including subs. But I don't want to actually listen to one if there is any risk. Just so you know, the only reason I'm asking is because a friend and I had laughed about the existence of these recently and I wanted to put one on a mix to listen to in my car as a joke. And I don't have a system, obviously (I care too much about my hearing and my budget).

Kicker 15"..quick question?

no it shouldn't if you don't turn it up too loud because the track is just heavy low frequency bass witch subs pick up or it should be, i think they say illegal bass test because it is illegal to play it in competition

How many khz is good for an amp?

he was asking about a system or set of speakers without a subwoofer set. at regular listening levels the low frequency notes will make some sound from your mid range speakers. its predecence ove the pther notes depends on the attenuation of the tweeter and the croos over point in the frequncy range of the woofer (not subwoofer). most car stereo speakers become distorted st freq. below 25 Hz or so. so it will not destroy your speakers unless played for long periods at high levels.

How do I get rid of interference or noise from XM radio in my car?

well hey first thing if you dont have subs them your fine. bass tracks that are illegel are only bad if you have a powerful system in the trunk. they are only illegel because they can stop pace makers at jam radars and certain frequencies. so if you have the tracks and no huge stereo your fine and as for your normal speakers say good bye to those if you put to much volume to them. oh yeah there are only a select few tracks that are actullay illegel and good luck finding them. almost all are fake.

You are joking right, I mean I can take a tone generator and produce ANY tone at ANY dB. Does it make that illegal too?

I'm not flaming you, just the idea.

Who makes better amps alphasonik or autotek . I am going to put it with a 12 inch tc sounds 3000 .?

I don' t see how ANY audible tone can jam radar as they operate in the GHz range or disrupt a pace-maker as it would be "sound deadened" by the body". Think about being underwater, what do you hear?

However, a high dB low Hz test tone on a 2000 watt system will do some damage - either to the amp or subs, and your hearing.
