Does a 2006/7 dodge ram 1500 stereo head unit have rca aux inputs on the back of the unit?
theres a few too look into. good luck.
I've heard Polk and Kicker have really good subwoofers. Be careful with Polk, though. They are new with car audio. Hope this helps!
My amplifier just shut down...what do I do?
the major trusted companies are usually pretty good. Like alpine, pioneer, kicker, and JLI must say, out of them all JL hits best( my opinion). You can't say which sound system sounds the best, because it is all matter of opinion. So go to best buy and try bunch of different subs and find the one YOU like the most!!
I hope this helps
How can I install a Ford Factory Stereo into an Oldsmobile? Please help?
Way to subjective. It really depends on what you expect out of your subs. What kind of music do you listen to, for example. If you like Jazz or classical which uses a lot of pure digital recordings you'll want at least 1 "10 or "12 with around 50-100 watts in an acoustic suspension enclosure for maximum quality and crisp taught base. If you like rap, the bigger the better. Minimum 2-"12s with at least 150 watts each RMS though most want at least 250+ watts each. The first system will only require bass reinforcement without overawing the the music while most bass systems use all the subs and power that can be crammed into the vehicle. Most systems will fall in the middle.
One last example, mine: Head-Alpine 7909(new re-issue) Amps- 2-Alpine 50 watt x 2s @ 4ohms fro front/rear 1-Alpine 150x2 @ 2ohms Front/rear-Alpine seperates(1" tweets & 5 1/4 mids w/passive crossovers) Subs-4 JL Audios
All of this is run through an Audio Control pre-amp for indash tweaking. Nicely balanced. Crisp clean highs with all the bass I need. Some want more power. Ive been in car audio for over 20 years and I'm satisfied and I've done it all.
In my opinion JL, Kicker, or Alpine. Ive herd Jls in the stores and there quality is second to none, they make some of the hardest hitting and clear subs out there. Kickers are great for the price. And I have a Alpine Type E in my truck. Its only got 250watts going to it and it hits hard and sounds very clear. In my opinion go with Jl, I know a kid who has a 13w7 and its insane.
Help Hacking a 2007 Silverado Factory Radio?
It all depends on your vehicle really. In my 1993 Ford Mustang 5.0 I have two 15inch Pioneers, two kenwood 1500 watts each, it blows doors off of other cars in traffic. Decent for a convertible. In my wife's blazer we have a 12inch walmart 12inch Sony Xplode with a 800 watt kenwood. It sound incredible. If you have a smaller car with a trunk two 10s or two 12s is plenty, provided you have at least 600 watts total and your subs face the rear of your car so the sound reverberates against your trunk. if you need help choosing what you need for your vehicle e mail me at playspaintball@yahoo.com... good luck and slapp hard!More Questions & Answers ...
