I bought a 2 Farad Cap (Tsunami PP1002TM-Cap), hooked it up, but the digital display never turned on so I don't even know if it's working or not. The cap has 3 Positive (+) terminals and 3 Negative (-) terminals on the top. The intructions that came with it don't really explain how to hook it up very clearly. This is what I did.

I took the positive wire straight from the battery (fused) and hooked it up to one of the positive terminals on the cap. I then took the Negative wire and grounded it on the chasis and hooked that up to the cap. Then I used the other 2 positive terminals on the cap to run 2 power wires to my 2 amps. The amps work, but the digital display on the cap never turned on.

I used the provided resitor to charge the cap like the directions said. But again, even after charging the cap for 10 minutes, the digital display and LED lights on the cap never came on.

The display usually only comes on when there's a significant change in voltage. Mine will come on for a bit then shut off to conserve power.Why does my sub cut-out when i play real LOW beats?
If the cap charged ok, then it should be fine. One way to test it remove the fuse by the battery and measure voltage on the cap being careful not to short it out.
How can i find the RMS rating on a AMP like this one? that doesnt say how much RMS its putting out?
If you use a 12v light bulb to charge the cap, you can actually see it's progress. The light will get dimmer as the cap charges and will go out once charged. You can also use the same light bulb to discharge the cap.
What is the smallest enclosure I could build for a 10 in. sub and still get good sound?

All three positive connections should be connected to the battery AND amps positive connection.

It seems you did the right thing. If even after charging the cap (it should take just a few seconds) , the display on the cap works whether there's is a change in voltage. Try rising the volume and then lowering, disconnect the battery or fuse, is still doesn't work then is most likely your display circuit doesn't work.
