6" woofers? I've only seen JL 6's. -Not cheap, though.
For 6.5's you can go to Wal-Mart (I know, just hold-on) and get a pair of Lightning Audio's for $35! Lightning Audio is manufactured by Rockford Fosgate (yes, really!) and they sound AWESOME for $35. I had a friend with a pair of the L.A 6x9's, each getting 100watts rms apiece and they sang beautifully! He also had 2 L.A 12"'s each getting 350wrms, they pound hard for $40 (apiece)!
For a CD player, find the model # you want then shop around.
Avoid Pioneer/Premier as they (75% of all) have bad ground issues on the rca outpus. Also avoid 'off'-brands. You can find a decent-featured Alpine for under $125.

Is The Amp Good?

Well, you're probably not going to like this but the only way you can buy anything good yet cheap, would be to buy used (which is sometimes worse than buying new and cheap). I've got 2 Alpine S12 subs with a Clarion 1300 Series AMP, Sony Xplod 6x9's and two 6 1/2' Pioneer door speakers which all cost me $1500.00. Which is fairly cheap compared to a lot of other basic setups. Sometimes Auto Flea Markets have some good stuff if there are any that pop up in your area. As for the box I found this as a guidline http://www.cardomain.com/ride/699501... . I'm sure there's all kinds of sites with info though. Just gotta look around. As for the magnets I found a pretty amazing site http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/spe... it's worth a look-see for sure.
