Mercedes radio unit will not play my cd copies - is there any fix for this problem?

Try to Play CD+R, That sometimes make a diiference, If not. The Stereo is just not made to read Copied CD's and the only way to fix that is to replace the stereo UNIT. I don't think you want to do that in a Mercedes. But the Only other think is have a seperate CD Player that connects thru the cassette deck. That will work as well. Good Luck.

Are your CD's CD-R or CD-RW. No matter the quality of a stock cd player none can read CR-RW(re-writable CD's) burned CD's for a stock radio should be CD-R or Real ;) If that doesn't work if your stereo is a little old the lense might be dirty, they sell cleaner cd's. If it's new than I don't know what else to say.
