Are you a ham radio operator and what frequency do you talk on? Did you start out on CB or just ham radio?

My husband is he talks on 224.660 he also does a Ham Radio TV thing, sorry I don't know the correct name for it. He has always been in to electronics. He would tinker with TVs as a kid take them apart tick his dad off. :)

if a amp. says "400 watts x2 speakers" how many watts is that total?

He started out with CB then got his Ham license when he was in his late teens early 20's.
