For a 10" Sub, would it be worth it to build a box, or should I just buy the walmart brand box?

The 30$ box from walmart just needs assembly, and i would plan to better seal the box and insulate it with poly. My other option would be to start from scratch and build one. Anyone used the walmart box before? is it decent or not?

most likley the walmart will be crap. look for 1/2" to 5/8" mdf (medium density fiber bored) the walmart ones wil prob be made of cheaply pressed wood splinters and will fall apart on you. also I would not recommend filling with poly but its youre prefrence. make sure the box is the right size for the sub. look for the sub manf website for box deminsions.
