How do you hook up a capacitor and what are the 2 things on top of the can and are there terminals you putonit

Question:
do you just stick the wire in the hole or what do you do

Answers:

How to attach a battery terminal?

You hook those up to the circuit and get the cap all charged up. Then carefully disconnect it from the circuit and toss it to a friend to catch. The cap will discharge in their hands. It's good for a real laugh if it doesn't kill them.

Is it possible to hook up a sub and amp to the stock Alpine system in a Lincoln LS?

I kind of agree with Linda D, but those are the two terminals the circuit wires get hooked to. Some capacitors are polarized, in that the terminals will be marked as positive or negative and hooking them up backwards won't work.

I need to know where the break switch circuit is in a 91 Chevy Caprice?

You seem to know what a capacitor is but not the 2 things on the top or how to attach it - maybe you should get an expert to do your repair work. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

i want to buy an amp 4 my car, but how many watts until i need to use another car betery to power my system?

I'll echo the first answer and add that if it's a can type and there no terminals or screws on top - it sounds broken. All the more reason not to bother with it.
