will i need a cap to push this system to peak power or do i just need to buy another battery?
You want an amp with a higher power rating than your speakers. You get blown speakers when your amp starts "clipping", working near it's peak. What you have looks fine.Sparky, I understand clipping fine. Your e-mail proves you aren't reading this right. An amp with higher RMS than the speakers at the same ohms is better than the other way around. I've been an audiophile for 40 years.
How can I make it so my indash DVD will play DVDs while the car is in drive?
Your ratings for peak seem to be ok if you are using a 4 ohm connection. The 2 ohm connection is producing a higher peak wattage than the speaker is rated.potential for a blown sub woofer. You'll know if you "pop" the speaker and the cone ends up in the front seat!how do i take out a radio in a 2006 sububan z71?
The ratings are there for a reason! If you overpower anything, it will blow up.Here, try that amp on this NUKE...
How do you wire 2 subwoofers to a mono channel amp?
Oh goody, another person who doesn't understand "clipping" and under powering. (sigh) ~muffinman~Where can I get an MECP study guide?
Anyway, as long as your running the subs at 4 ohms and you don't crank the volume past 70%, you'll be fine.
How do I wire my two 1000watt 12" dvc subwoofers to my 2400watt mono block amplifier?
