Can you drop the ohm loads on speakers?

I know u can drop ohm loads in subwoofers, but can u do it to 6x9 speakers. Im going to get 4 new kicker 6x9, , they are at 4 ohm, and i was wondering, is their a way to drop the ohm load ?
