Is there a difference between square and round speakers (car subwoofers)?

I've got a cd stuck in my 6 disc ford cd player..?

well, square woofers displace more air (simple physics right) they do seem to "hit harder" but the typical sound from your square woofers in my opinion have been less then satisfactory on sound quality. picking on Kicker for example, their bass tends to be very mono tonal and very muddy sounding. In my opinion a good jl audio woofer or Rockford woofer of equal quality (or price) sounds much much better in actual auditioning them

Connecting lanzar 1000 watt subs and amp @ 1 ohm?

yes the square will give "more" base in a smaller area typically, however, due to the geometrical shape, they tend to be slightly less accurate, but if your not a stereo nut, you wont notice.
ps the guy above me a stereo nut... but he is right on.
