Anything by Phoenix Gold. You can buy a 2 ch amp and connect the sub in bridge mode which will give a lot of power to your sub. Or if you can buy a powerful 1ch amp just for the sub. I recommend a 2 ch amp in case of a future second installation of a sub.
Where is the best place to buy low priced car audio equipment?

Get a mono class d amp for your subs always. They tend to handle lower impedances than 2 channel amps. And if you do the wiring right you could wire ten subs to an amp. Leave the caps out they are not worth buying. The best thing to get is a HO alternator and a optima battery. Nuff' said.
Which of these amps is better for my sub?
don't get fooled by amp power ratings, if they are not CEA-2006 certified, they are useless. i listed the amp i would buy, it is a power house and has superb adjustment features, and it is clean as hell, additionally it is extremly effient, meanning no alt and batt upgrades needed, the cap is a o.k. idea, to clean up the sound and take stress off the alternator, but not may not be required if you have a decent alt. the guy below is even on sale. if you want something to compare amps that are not cea-2006 look at the fuses they are a good indicator, this beast has 4X20 ampMore Questions & Answers ...
