What is the difference betwwen a mono amp, 2 channel amp, and a multi channel amp?
With the information you say, it seems to me that may be a wiring or a blown fuse problem. Do you have any amp on your system? Are the speakers connected directly to your deck? Does each speaker has its own speaker wire? or are they connected to the same wire? do you have front speakers? Normally when a speaker doesn't work is due to bad wiring. Check the speaker wires make sure they aren't making direct contact with ground (metal chassis or some wire). Check for their polarity they have to be all in phase (positive with positive negative with negative) If they are OK , dismount the deck and check if there's a wire without the insulation grounding somewhere. If everything looks fine, check your car's manual for the fuse box and locate the fuses for instrument panel, radio, etc make sure they aren't blown if so replace it. Make sure the ground wire of the radio is attached to a hard piece of metal (chassis) or to the factory radio ground wire. After checking all things above still have the problem then it could be your deck is malfunctioning, to verify this take out your deck from the car, connect the battery (usually red )and continuous (usually yellow) power wire together to the positive terminal of your car's battery and the ground wire usually black to your negative terminal. If the you still see the radio malfunctioning then your deck is damage. Can i wire a sub and amp to a standard ford stereo?
Sounds like the deck is bad and has a burnt out amp for that channel. If the speaker is fine running a jumper from the other speaker, then this is the only answer.I have a pioneer deh-1900mp car radio. How do I set the clock?
