I just bought another amp for my 2 subs and right now i was told to run 1 power wire and spilt it and send the signal both ways one too one amp one to another the problem is my wiring is only rated at 1200 Watts and my amps are 3200 max since ive wired it it hasnt seemed to have gotten much louder maybe a decibel or 2 and i think it should be more because i just added another sub and another amp anyways i was just wondering if that is the way to do it and just get bigger wire or if i should maybe use 2 power wires...any suggestions will be apreciated

you didnt mention what gauge wire you have running to the amps.95 Buick Lesabre,Autostart/alarm Viper 100esp (I think)?
considering you are going to be running quite a few watts.. im assuming the amps are of decent quality..so yer gonna have some serious amperage draw.. heres my recomendation:

4 gauge (battery cable thickness) from the battery(dont forget a good inline fuse within a foot of the battery)to a distribution block( takes the main power line and evenly splits it so both amps get what they require)..then run your amps off the block..
you are also gonna want to have both amps grounded at the same place(never lengthen your grounds)

with that kinda power.. your battery probably wont last long.. so i recommend a good battery(maybe gel?) so your car will start faithfully every morning :)
if you start noticing that your headlights and such dim excessively durring high volumes i recommend a capacitor inline before the dist. block... cap stores power fro mthe battery..so the amps draw from it durring peak loads..keeps the strain off the battery a bit.
There's no way you can have 3200 amps... I presume thats a typo. What gauge wire are you using?
