How do i hook two 12" 2 ohm speakers to a 4 ohm 2 channel amp?
If you use the 230w x 2 amp, each sub will have 115w of power. If you make a bridged with a parallel connection, the power will be increase greatly. With the 375 x 1 amp you can connect both subs in parallel mode which will give you more power since the impedance assuming is 4 ohm will decrease to 2 ohm So definitely is best to use a 2 ch amp.My new Power caps are VRX make what the **** do anyone know about them i aint got the box or nout.?
whats the rms and ohm of the subs? are they single or dual voicecoil?personaly i go with mono i made the mistake of getting a 2ch amp and then after a year i got a mono amp that was the same watts and it sounds a whole lot better then the 2channel talk to a person (for free) at http://chat.crutchfield.com/netagent/scr... tell them the sizeand watts of the subs and they will match u with the best amp to go with the subs u have (u don't have to buy from them but they will still give u the infomation u need) hope u find one u like
Rewired my amp and now it doesn't work.I have power checked with test light?
Two mono blocks are always better than a 2 channel amp but running two subs from one mono block is not good as you will only pick up one channelMore Questions & Answers ...
