My car's cd deck has an auxilary input (the headphone-jack lookin thingy). how do i hook up my ipod to this?

You'll need a dual male-ended 2.5mm jack. This has 'headphone' style jacks on each end. One goes in your ipod's 'headphone' (volume less than 1/2 way up) or 'output' jack and the other end goes into your car stereos' input jack.

Make sure the cable you get has 3 contact points on each side. This will allow stereo sound. If they only have 2 contacts, you will only hear mono sound, maybe from only 1 side also.

Javin is correct. You can get them anywhere. Walmart even sells them for like $5. Plus the sound is so much better than with a FM modulator. Sounds crisper and bass is better.
