ok i'm out working on my truck (99 dodge dakota w/ an optima yellow top), to upgrade my amplifier wire to a 1/0 kit...the only problem is that i cant get the positive battery lug nut off! no wrenches i have fit it they're all too small or too big... wat is the exact size i need to get to fit it?

How about don't worry about it and go to plan "B"? Follow were the positive battery lead ends and attach it there. This is a much better choice. You don't have to be concerned about corrosion as it is not attached near the battery; it looks cleaner, and in the short distance from the battery to the end of the cable you will not loose any current flow. This same cable is what powers the starter when you start the truck! The starter draws alot more amperage and is only in use for a very short time!Wat kind of amp shuold i buy ? wat brand?
Have you tried adjustable wrenches? There are various sizes of them?You need to use a needle nose vise grip which is available at any hardware store if you don't own one. Just clamp it on hard, making sure to not strip it, and turn LEFT to got it off.
