Answers:
why is it that you lose your car radio reception in gas stations?
that outer layer of thin stranded wire is ground wire and the center wire is the hot wire, if you have just one little strand of that ground wire touching the hot wire you will have problems, you should have gone to radio shack and checked to see if they had a connector that you could put the two male ends into. Did you solder the wires together and tape them up real good with electrical tape?Where is the best place to loacte a subwoofer enclosure in the trunk?
replace the male connector plus the wire and buy a power antenna for a buick regal it should only be $16.00 to $30.00. This WOULD BE YOUR MOST SIMPLE SOLUTIONi ripped some coax apart on a CB radio, i tried to fix it but i only made it worse. you should have just got an adapter or something from radioshack, otherwise you might just have to replace the whole cable
What do i do with the remote wire if i want to hook up two amps..do i spilt it or what?
you wouldnt need to cut it.radio shack has adapters to make it fit,but since you did, then its probably doesnt have a good ground.Go to Radio Shaft and get a COAX splice kit. It will help, but you should've just bought an adapter.
