Question:
I need to make a ground connection to my Phillips car stereo, but there is no black ground wire.? According to the manual, there is supposed to be one, but it's just not there... Doesn't really look like there ever was one... I tried connecting it from the frame, but that noise increasing in pitch with the engine is still there... It does work otherwise, but that sound is just annoying... Help me please...

Is there anything wrong with me running a 150 4ohm Woofer at 8 ohm's?
if there is no ground wire coming out of the stereo harness that hooks up to the stereo that means u might need a new harness or u need to look at the pinout (possible in the instruction manual) and see which pin the ground wire is supposed to hook to. If what you are saying is that you have a ground wire but have no where to hook it up then you have a couple of options. You can hook it to the frame like you said but if you are getting a bad engine noise you will need to try and find a better place(almost any solid metal inside there). If that does not fix the engine noise you could try an inline radio loop filter. There are 2 for sale if you go to the store you want one that goes between your ground not one for rca plugs. I hope this answers your question correctly. I wasn't exactly sure what you were asking. What kind of woofers are good for a 1500 reg cab silverado?
Well all you gotta do is connect a new ground wire from the head unit to a firm piece of metal somewhere on the car. i have connected my ground wire to the firewall. How do i take the inside door panels off my honda accord w reg?
On some cars the ground is actually the antenna. Can someone tell me how I might hook up a marine stereo to a regular power supply?
Well don't worry that's easy to fix. Just connect the ground wire from your radio to a firm metal piece of the chassis , you should find it inside your dash, between the firewall and the dash. right now I have my radio that way and works fine without noise.Does anyone know anything about subwoofers?
Yep, your ground wire was pulled out of the radio. You need to connect -a couple- ground wires to the frame of your radio since only one caused alt. noise. Just connect a couple diff. ground wires to it and splice all those together (2 or 3 will work fine) and connect that one to the factory ground. You may want to connect them to a new ground to ensure no resistance.Good Luck!
