How does the traffic bulletin syestem work on my car CD player?
Regular ones will work fine. Sometimes the auto ones are slightly more shielded from interference and have thicker insulation, but a home one will work just fine as long as you route it carefully. Is the sony xplod a good subwoofer or not?
It is usually a good idea to run signal wires (Red and White) down one side, like the passenger side and to run power down the opposite side, drivers to reduce interference.
What is my best option for adding ipod capabilities to my Audi A3?
MikeC
Just as long as they are shielded wires. Some cheep audio plugs are not and if you like to hear the spark plugs and alternator whine you will be ok...
It makes virtually no difference to the sound quality, I have used these for years and NEVER had any interference from the car's electrical system (alternator whine etc) so there ;-)
I have a two channel amp and want to power one dual voice coil sub. how do I run that at 4 ohms?
Nope, it doesn't matter at all. I spliced wires and put other wires together to make my own, and they worked fine. Of course, I don't use them anymore, because I didn't have any electrical tape and wires were showing, so I decided just to buy the real deal.More Questions & Answers ...
