i have just got a car radio off my brother but he can't remember the code it's a blaupunkt and the serial is BP92962X1263696 it was originally in a rover and has a rover emblem on the front i would appreciate anyone helping me out thanks.

try www.radio-code.co.uk u got the serial number so u just input this with the make and can pay using paypal its only £5 cheap i say!! theyll email it to u straight away with instructions and if u have trouble they help u. i use them all the time for pple i know had no probs at all!!Phone around a few local second hand car dealers in your area, they usually have the equipment to tell you your code, they tend to charge £20.
if its a gen rover radio then any rover dealer will hep you!

A bit of a tricky one this but I have several code calculators for Blaupunct and they all come up with the same 2 different codes, they are 6124 and 0124 , it has been a while since I decoded a Blaupunct but the calculators that I use are usually spot on, if I was you I would try 6124 first as in my experience codes hardly ever start with number 0. if its got a rover emblam on it, i assume its a rover part, i would say take it to a rover dealer, but it would be very hard to find one of them now, look in the yellow pages for a rover technition specialist or it might be worth contactng MG.Could I hook a switch in my REM wire?
