Do I wire one voice coild to one channel and the other voice coil to the other channel, or do I wire both voice coils into one channel. The subwoofer takes 325 watts rms max, and my amp puts out 225 watts rms each channel.

That's BS. You absolutely can wire one coil to each side of the amp. If your amp cannot do 2 ohm mono than this is the best way to wire it. Uneven heating of coils is BS.2 12" KICKER L7 w/ 1600 rms HIFONICS AMP w/ 4 far. cap will i need alt/batt?
In fact, you can run one coil in a DVC and short the other and it becomes a single 4 ohm sub with 1/2 the power capacity. how's that for uneven heating??

And how about this, when DB drag guys wire 2 amps to the same sub??? (or 4 amps to one sub) I'm sure they don't put out the exact same amount of power, do they, and in most cases, that's thousands of watts, not hundreds. I don't see them warping voice coils either. hmmm...

Also, I have never seen a warped voice coil. the only deformed voice coils I have ever seen were caused by the voice coil hitting the back plate until it crushed. Oh, and I saw a couple fly out through the cone. Those were pretty messed up when they landed but that was due to defective voice coil glue that eclipse used.
