I have 2 amplifiers in my car, and one went into safe mode... and a smell of burning electronics also appeared. I can see no damage.. and would like my subs back.. can you tell me...

The amp goes into safe mode becasue there has been an overload somewhere. Shut the ignition off and check the fuse for the amp. If one is blown, replace it.

The burning smell may be coming from the a subwoofer. If the subwoofer's voice coil was damaged it may be shorting the speaker outputs, causing the amp to go into protect mode. Disconnect your speakers from the amp and see if the "protect" light still comes on. If it does, there's most likely an internal problem in the amp; if it doesn't, then chances are a blown subwoofer is causing the problem.
