Amp problem?
There are a few ways you can install the radio unit- 1 way would be to get a satellite radio unit that has an fm modulator that doesn't have to connect any wires to the back of your stereo deck, the other way would be to have it connected to the back of your deck. Despite that choice, you will still need to run your antenna somewhere to your roof (its usually a little magnetic one) and a powersource for your satellite radio dock. When I got sirius installed, I had it professionally installed and wired to my radio. This provides the best audio quality and most of the time installers can give it a clean professional look that is difficult for the amateur. Concerning the enjoyment, if you love music like me and are on the road or don't like your local stations, satellite radio is AMAZING. So much music with no commercials that I enjoy it immensely. I have 1 unit in my car and 1 unit in my home and I love it. I would probably recommend Sirius for the music lover and XM for the sports lover; however Sirius is beginning to cover more and more sports.

yes,i have both and i installed 4 plug and play units myself.i cant stand to listen to regular radio now.the plug and play is the best way to go cause you can move it from car to car or to office or to home.if you go the plug and play way then get sirius their wireless fm transmitters work better than the xm and they are suppose to merge by the end of the year anyway and they say that you wont have to buy a new radio.
