How to attach a battery terminal?

Question:
I just got a gold plated battery terminal (+) for my amp, but on my 04 Civic, it seems like once I install that, I can't connect the car's power to the battery. There's only two posts on the battery, + and -. What do I do?

Answers:

Can i use the remote stick on steering column of a ford focus to a aftermarket ICE unit?

well what you need to so is wire in both your battery and your amp power wire so that they are both in the gold plated battery terminal

help with my system?

take it back or take it to an auto electric shop

if im running 2 kicker l7's what amp do i need?

you should buy a top and side post battery, leave the cars power alone, and wire your stereo to your 2 free post.
