Question:
My son has a 12in sub box for his Bronco 2 we bought him a new set of 12 in MX Autotek Meanmachine subs MX1222 2+2ohm. These have the huge heavy magnets (much bigger than his others) but they (subs) have 2 pop up speaker connections on each side 4 total. But his other subs only had 2 I am not sure how to hook these up and what the 4 are for? Cannot get sound (very soft) out of them do I need to hook up each side to speaker wire or what. Dont want to mess em up. So lookin for some insight from you audio guys Thanks alot!!

Any good double din head units?
Since those are dual 2 ohm subs, there are a couple of ways to wire them. the problem is the load you present on the amp. Too little and you can overheat the amp and burn it up.The idea is to match the total watts RMS of the subs to a mono amp. In your case, at a 2 ohm load because wiring the subs like so http://www.i81.photobucket.com/albums/j2... will result in a 2 ohm load to the amp.
Need help with getting a system for my blazer extreme!?

You will have to bridge the sub connection. If you are looking at one of the subs then you need to hook the positive on one to the box and the negative of the other to the box so that there is one wire from each hook up.
