Dash DVD player, parking bypass.?

Question:
I know that to bypass the parking brake all you need to do is ground it. Could i wire it to the black ground wire in my harness to do this? This would make it a three wire connection, black ground from dvd unit, black ground from car harness, and pink parking brake wire. Would this work? Thanks.

yes, you can do it this way. also, you may want to put it on a switch between the two wires so that you won't have any problems come vehicle inspection time, or you get pulled over.

This will work.
Do consider, the actual ground wire will need to be upgraded to make up for all 3 going to 1 (small, I might add) factory ground wire. If you are trying to ground too many component through 1 small wire, ground noise will be induced.
Just run an extra ground from these 3, going straight to metal frame(use a bolt).
