What gauge speaker cable for car speakers?

I am installing 4 car speakers in my truck (6'' x 9'' 4 way kenwoods) run off a 4 x 70w rms kenwood amp. What speaker cable gauge should I use?

it depends on what ur doing. if ur running from an amp and how long it is. bigger wire u lose less power, but u dont want to go too big. best way to find out what ud want is go to streetwires.com and use their wire guides. put in the power and length and it tells u whats getting to ur speaker

Why am I getting a loud low frequency hum through the woofers?

18 gauge is ok if you can find it and afford it 14 gauge nothing bigerr for small inside speakers
