Question:
i have aded my 6x9's to my right front speaker because i have no wire that i can find wired up to any of my rear speakers so i decided to run the wires from both of my 6x9's down the side of my car to the rightspeker where they are all joined up in one circuit, would this be ok or is this dangerous, i have had friends with the same problem and this is where i got this idea from. cheers

Hooking up amp to Grand Cherokee?
#1 no stereo seperation
#2 (3) 4 ohm speaker on a cricuit in parallel is a 1.3 ohm impedence. Most head unit amplifiers can only do a 4 ohm load. Your head unit will go into protection, or burn up.
Don't do it!
Why not just run 2 sets of wires from the rear to the head unit?
This is the right way to do it.
How to add an dummy alarm led to my car and make it flash only when ignition is off?
I would say this is a bad idea also. Like Andrew K. said, the ohm impedance will be way off with your head unit. 3 speakers off one will also affect the sound quality. Lower watts will go to the 3 speakers. How do I wire my amp to run at 14.4v instead of 12.0v so I can get the max power out of it?
My suggestion is when you get an hour or so to take out your rear speakers, put in the 6x9s in their place, and use their wires to power them.
