Question:
I am either going to buy an FM modulator that connects to my factory stereo through the FM antenna input or buy a new stereo with the AUX input in the front where I can just plug it in. Which of these two options would sound better? I know if it goes through the FM antenna it will be about the same sound quality as listening to an FM radio station. Would plugging it into the AUX input produce the same sound quality or would it be eqivlant in sound to playing a CD?

Why do my subs sound bad when i close my trunk?
Using the Aux in will give you better quality than the FM, but you knew that already. The sound quality via the AUX should be around that of your CD. Keep in mind though that depending on the quality of the Mp3/AAC that is on your iPod it might not sound as good as a CD.How do you get the CDs to eject Audio Master Player?
Either way a direct wire connection will sound better than something sent over the Radio waves. If you current stereo already has a hook up for a multi disc cd changer, then you might not need to change out the entire stereo (head unit). There are after market connectors that hook into the back of your head unit and act like they are a cd changer, but it hook up to your iPod.
I suggest checking out http://www.ipodlounge.com for reviews and such.
there is also an attachment for the cigarette lighter that allows you to plug in your ipod power supply and sends the music to the car speakers you can pick one up at radioshack

First of all, I would visit www.crutchfield.com, select your make and model, and they will tell you which IPOD adapter works best with either your factory radio or a new stereo with IPOD connections. Now I have an 05 Nissan Murano, and this was a whole new issue.Installing Car aduio amplifier?

The AUX input sounds fine, but you cannot control your IPOD at all through your stereo, other then volume adjustments.

Does anyone have satellite radio radio in the car?
Buy an aftermarket CD player with an AUX input in the back. Purchase a 3.5 mm headphone jack to RCA converter. Plug the headphone jack into the iPod and plug the RCAs into the head unit. Switch the head unit to "aux." They have some head units with the RCA inputs in the front, that would be more convenient if you don't care about the wire.More Questions & Answers ...
