What difference would it make if i increased my box size?
You need a power filter (inductive type) that wires in between the fuse block (or battery) and the radio itself.
I'm interested in getting a GPS system. Anyone got any recommendations?
the antenna could be your problem. it has a sheilded wire if its damaged the tuner will amplify any unwanted noise. also makesure your power wire is good. there is a way to put a capacitor across the powerwire also, to drop any ac noise. look into that.Help!! Installing new car speakers?
Generally it's caused by a bad ground wire. If it is at its worst with AM on, then that's the case (AM radio uses the ground as the antenna, usually). Try separating the ground wires or grounding the stereo in a different spot.Mine will bring more unwanted noise the dirtier the battery connections get.
YOU NEED TO USE A BETTER EARTH WIRE FOR THE TUNNER. WHAT YOU DO IS ON THE BACK OF THE PLAYER YOU'LL SEE LOTS OF COLOURED WIRES LOOK FOR ONE WHICH IS BLACK AND THEN TRACE IT TO THE CAR BODY THE WILL ACT AS A EARTH AND THE INTERFEARANCE WILL BE GONE GARANTED MAKE SURE YOU USE A FAT WIRE AND BOLT IT TO A NUT WHCH IS JOINT ON TO THE CAR BODY
