What is the best brand of car stereo?

I want to put in a CD player in my 95 Avalon, but I don't know what to buy, help?

Do people make a satellite radio that require little wires and can be played through the stereo in your car?

I always liked the pioneer's but it all depends on what your going to be using it for i have subs attached to mine and the pioneer has pre outs on it for that

what you have to do is just shop around for awhile find out what you need or really want Pioneer would be my first choice

How is the sound quality on satellite radio?

Type in (car audio) on your pc and look around at all the different sites because most will let you know what does or does not fit your vehicle, and also you will find good deals. The brand you you buy does matter also because the higher end s have more options included with them for future upgrades, but you can also get a name brand like sony,panasonic or alpine for like 150 bucks that has all the basics with it without all the the options if your just going to use it for am/fm & cd use. just take your time and look around.

Can i run a 1000W sub off my 500W amp?

I have had several different after market head units (I worked in the car audio buisness for over 10 years) and for the money and quality I would either go with Pioneer Premier or Panasonic. Both are very good head units and are not very expensive.

The best car stereo on the market right now would be Eclipse, they might not be the flashiest, but as far as sound, control, and reliability, they are the best. Then you'd have to go with Pioneer, both the regular and Premier lineups. Pioneer has been doing car audio for a long time, and their decks are always going to be on the top of the list. After that, I'd have to go with Alpine, but only if you are planning on doing a system. Then you fall into the rest: Panasonic, Sony, JVC, Kenwood, etc. Another good company is Nakamichi, but they are hard to find, are a little expensive, and don't look that great, but they are fantastic stereos.
