Question:
I have a Pioneer DEH-6 stereo. Recently, my amplifier seemed to loss bass so I sent it off to be fixed (it is under warranty). After diconnecting it and sending it off, I discovered my stereo wasn't putting out any bass at all. I checked all wiring, and everything is fine. I recently discovered that if I set my balance all the way left or right, the bass kicks in, but otherwise it is non-existent. My balance range is 0-9. If I set it to R9 or L9, the bass works, but it gets lower the closer I get to 0. At 0, it goes out completely. I hooked up another amp I got from a friend, and it wasn't putting out much bass. If I set the stereo to L9 or R9, it booms. I also tried replacing the fuse and that didn't help. Can anybody help me with this? Does anybody know?

What are the best aftermarket speakers for a 01 jeep wrangler sport?
Acoustics is your answer, its called cancellation or out of phase. If i understand it correctly, you are powering just two front speakers right? if so, disconnect one speaker (either left or right) from the Pioneer head unit, then reverse the wiring of that speaker and it should improve bass. Tip: disregard the polarity wiring wether its reversed or not, if you got the bass back then thats a properly wired speaker for your situation. in short both speakers are in-phase with each other working together to pound your skull in, lol. What Company makes the best subwoofers? I've heard a lot of people recommend JL Audio.?
It really just sounds like some messed up wiring. Check all of the amplifier connections and the RCA's in the head unit.Is dis power acoustik amp good?
EDIT
Yes - the speakers could definitely be out of polarity. try switching the positive and negative on one of the subwoofers.
your speakers are out of phase
possitive negative wires are wrong
check them and you will see
good luck
Your speaker are out of polarity. Check and make sure that the + red terminals and the - black terminals on both the speakers and the amplifier are matched up. This does make a difference. If it is wired correctly and still does this reverse the wiring on one of the speakers. This should fix the problem. Good Luck!
Are you running your subs with the line level (RCA) or speaker level inputs?
reverse the polarity, by simply swapping the positive and negative of either speaker.
How can you get a tv picture on the jensen VM9511TS ?
Your Speakers are out of Phase!!If i hook two 12's and a 15 sub up, will it sound good, or should i not mix different sized subs?
Check the Wires. You should have Equal Length of each left & Right Wires. Difference in Length can cause this Problem.
Also, make sure that the Positive & negative Wires are Correctly Connected!! This is IMPORTANT!! Make sure that they are not Crossed.
I see all the information that you add and edit and i have still say the same like the other people i am almost 100%
