i need to find a free download site for an instruction manual to go with my kenwood car stereo model kdc-mp625

you have a ground problem reground the amp with a bigger gauge wire also use the same gauge for your power i also found that by getting your RCA wires away from the power wire and remote that helps also try to run a wire from the battery to the chassis of the car any and all ground helps when it comes to systems good luck

do you get a/lap top that has sat/nav fitted and can be fitted into a 12v car?

Most likly its you ground. Scrape off the paint and reground it. Also you could be getting some interferance into your RCA cables.

subwoofer trouble?

it sounds like you have a bad ground problem,
