I have 2 15" Eartquake Subzero's 07 model I plan to build a 2 seperate boxes 24"wx22"hx20"d with a 6" sloted port down the side thru the back does this sound like a good box plan or does someone have a better suggestion. They are going in a 05 sport trac on the backseat I'm building seperate boxes because of weight. The max specs for the back are 48Lx22hx20d without the subs being right against your head. Please share suggestions and or better plans. Oh incase your wondering I have a hifonics zeus-xx 1600d at 1 0hm on each one.

Sound great! If those measurements match volume requirements for the sub then go for it!i can tell you this i took 3 woofers out of a 15 cf boox that is 5cf per speaker you want to go 6cf biger and put them on a 3.0 cf box and they sound a lot louder and better
why will you go with a box that big ? is not a mmats jug and that woofer requieres 4.5 max

for your woofer i will go from 2.6 cf to 3.5 cf max anything over that is going to be bad sound and you can damage the woofer you also see about 80 sq inches of port
