Putting 2 15" L7in a blazer, with a seal, or ported box?

Question:
I will be purchasing my 2nd L7 this friday, and i have a choice of sealed box, or ported. Since I'm about 1 inch too small for the ported box, im thinking on gettin the sealed. My question, can the 2 L7's pop my sealed box? will it sound good? i have a zx1000.1 RMS kicker amp. L7 15" is 1000RMS a piece.

you are actually in no disadvantage.the L7 will not pop the seal...a sealed box will give you a more deep sound.it will hit more for deep songs if your going with rap and hip hop it is great if you listen 2 a lot of rock or punk its still good but a ported will be better.

A sealed box will make your bass sound a little deeper and cleaner. However, the ported will make it sound louder.
I guess the question is how you like your bass? Loud or Clean?

well sinse you got a kicker L7, i assume you dont care about sound quality. the fact that there 15" subs, confirms my thoughts. all you want is loud bass. which means you want a ported box. i'd have one custom made if i were you.

lol, if your box was built right, no, they will not "pop" your box. no it will not sound that good, cause the L7 is not a SQ driver. its made for SPL. a 15" woofer is also not made for SQ. so theres a double whammy. it will sound sloppy and unaccurate.
