ALPINE MRV-1507 or class D amp?

Question:
i currently run ALPINE MRV-1507 A/B CLASS AMP WITH TWO ALPINE SUBS. If I go for a class D amp with the same wattage will I get more bass (at high volume). The ALPINE is great old school but when I listen to music VERY loud my bass disappears? Thank you

yeah your A/B amp i think is a 2 channle amplifier which is ok for subs but to get the most out your subs you should go with a mono block or 1 channel amp usually running at 1-2ohms depending on your setup. first of all if you wanna run a 1channel amp to 2 subs you gonna have to look in the specifications of your subs and amp to see if they are both 1ohm stable cuz if either of them are not stable u could damage the subs coils from stressing to hard and result in blowing them.

i used to have that same amp and i used it to push 2 solo 12's and i never had that problem with that amp. something has to be wrong with that or your subs. try a different pair of subs and see wut happens. damn good amp though it beat them solos silly
