Question:
Hi, I have a '95 Dodge Neon and recently purchased 3 10" MTX thunder 6000's. I was looking for an amp that could handle my subs as well as my car handling the amps power. Also, on top of that since I am new to the car audio scene...I was wondering what all of the accessories are needed to have this setup running. The speakers in my car are stock, the cd player is a Kenwood 50x4.
How to fix a small crack in a car subwoofer.?
Please recommend something cheap but still bang for my buck.

First, that is a lot of power for a dodge neon.can i connect a subwoofer to a sony xplod cdx-gt110?it doesnt have sub outputs?
You may want to consider getting a newer car battery, possibly consider going one range higher than stock. You will have a lot of strain on your alternator. Since your neon is 12 years old, you may need to purchase an new alternator at some point.

Do a "big 3 upgrade" on your wires. (see source)

Do not use amplifier capacitors, they are just "band-aids" to the problem of dimming headlights and such.

Visonik makes good amplifiers. You should use Sosche wiring accessories. Consider replacing your stock speakers in the car as well. Infinity Kappas are nice.

Jpark,, even a brand new 0 miles Chrysler 300 can benefit from a Big 3 upgrade. A 12 year old economy car would benefit drastically.
ive got 2 rockford fozgate p1 10" under the seat of my '64 chevy truck.?
For 3 of these subs, you're looking at 750w RMS. Pending on which you have (4ohm, 8ohm, or 12ohm) you can wire them all together and get an amp that plays roughly 750w RMS at the ohms presented. You'll want to buy an typical amp kit (go for 4ga power wire and 16ga speaker wires) or you can buy everything separate (power wire, fuse holder + fuse, speaker wire, etc). You'll want to upgrade your speakers too, it will sound much better overall inside your car.If you wanted to go for the best bang for your buck, you should of bought Alpine Type-R subs. Let nobody say otherwise, they ARE the best bang for your buck. Let me know if you have trouble.

how do i hook an amp up in my car? what do i connect to what?
Unless something in your electrical system is faulty, theres no reason to upgrade "the big 3" in regards to your electrical system. (theres no big 3 in wiring...) You're only pushing 750w RMS, not enough to create too large a current draw that a healthy alt won't be in control over.
