Question:
I have a sound system that consists of a 4 ch and a mono block. the problem is my old 4 ch had 2 RCA inputs and a RCA output. now this new 4 ch only has 2 RCA inputs. my deck only has 1 set of pre-amp outputs so originally i had to split the RCA to cover only 2 sets, now i have to find a way to do that but for 3 RCA inputs. now i don't want to spend hundreds on an EQ or crossover. is there anyway around this? can i buy another pair of splitters and split one RCA cable to cover 2 more ch? Also i have tried to locate a EQ all over the car and i have grounded it in many different places, and moved the power wire around, and it still comes up with road noise. without it there is no road noise. any suggestions?
Answers:
If the 4ch. doesn't have outputs, your splitter idea works fine. Just keep in mind, you may have to -slightly turn the gains up on the 4ch. to make up for signal strenth lost (1/3) from splitting it again.
Good Luck!

your better off upgrading your head unit. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/caraudio/...go for something like that and you get preouts for each amp and an updated head unit if you dont have a lot to spend. if you got some more money go for a kenwood excelon they start at around $150 and up
