Question:
JBL Audio System with tape deck/ Don't want to/cant afford a new deck.
Answers:
yes, only problem is that since it does not have preamp outputs (RCA's) you need an amplifier that has "line level inputs" which means you can run a rear speaker wire in to the amp instead of RCA's. not all amps accept line level inputs.

I have a Sony CD Car Radio CDX-L280 - how do I turn the beep off?
In order to hook an amp into this system you'll either have to have an amp with high-level inputs (allows you to splice into your speaker wires and run speaker wire to your amp) or you'll need to get a line output converter (allow you to splice into your speaker wires, but then converts over to rcas so you can run rcas to your amp). So depending on which amp you get, you may or may not need the converter, you may just be able to use the high level inputs on the amp. Yes but you would have to buy a adapter wich will run of you rear speakers and your head unit only because most stock stereos dont have Preamps on the back of themMore Questions & Answers ...
