So ok, i got the CD player, i got the dash kit with the A/C knobs and everything, now ive hooked up many CD players before, but not any that have the factory amp in the trunk like on a taurus, its got some directions but they dont make since to me, i think its missin a whole page or soemthign, the wiring harness that came with the dash kit only has a ground, a yellow wire, there is no red wire, and then it has all the speaker wires and they are like 20 ft. long, ok so im guessing i gotta run the speaker wires from the harness to the trunk, but wat about the speaker wires from teh cd player wat they hook up to? they gotta hook up to somthing, and wat do i do with the speaker wires wen i get to the trunk? if someone knows how to explain all this to me or knows somewhere where i can see a layout and some decent directions can you please help? thanks.

LET THE STORE DO IT.From the head unit should run two wires, (similar to a/v wires) that will hook up to the amp, this is what transmits the audio from the headunit to the amp. Then to the amp goes connected the speakers. And voila!

Go to a stereo shop and get an adaptor for your system.It plugs into the Ford harness and will either tell you with wires from the deck go where or plug right into the deck ( if your lucky ) It worth about 30 Bucks and worth every penny.
